(11/7/2006) Democratic incumbent Dan Stewart was successful in retaining his seat against Republican Mike Wiles-- beating him by 10,000 votes or 36 percent.

Stewart, who will begin his third term at the house in January, hopes to gain bipartisan cooperation in efforts to make improvements in jobs, education and other issues by means of a 5 point plan introduced during his campaign run.

"Its the only way to get stuff done, " Stewart said of his re-election. "Its a new day, there's a new way, and things are going to change in Ohio."
